This is an exceptionally well-done cover for your Dry Bones book. It conveys your personal style quite well and does a good job setting the mood for the story. I especially like the coloring -- particularly texturing.

It's been difficult to find anything I could suggest as a way of improving this image, even though I didn't give it high marks for "impact" or "vision". That's primarily because the simplicity of it I think wouldn't encourage me to pick it up in a book store. Perhaps if Zeke were handing her something funny or if he were decked out in a tux and top-hat or (if you're inclined that direction) if he were DJing with turntables. Of course, it's entirely possible that none of those might be in-character for the series though...

There are two things in particular that I will mention specifically that I think definitely could be improved. The first is simple -- I don't think the knee marks are lending anything to the style here... Not really anything else to say on that...

The second is a bit more involved. I think the music at the top could use some work. Although I figured out that it was music, it took me a moment to see it and it still looks a little awkward. I think a few chords and/or eighth or sixteenth notes would go a long way toward making it look more natural and help the viewer notice it right away. Personally I think I might even include a staff and a treble clef... I think the staff could actually double-back over itself like a ribbon waving in the wind and look very cool that way...

Here are a few examples of the kind of thing I was thinking

Of course it wouldn't have to be that elaborate, that's just where I think I'd go with it. I think just adding a chord or two or a couple shorter notes would still seal the deal, so you could keep that simplicity.

So to recap.
<img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="10" height="10" alt=":bulletred:" title="Bullet; Red"/> knees -- no biggie
<img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="10" height="10" alt=":bulletred:" title="Bullet; Red"/> music - make it stand out more
<img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b…" width="10" height="10" alt=":bulletred:" title="Bullet; Red"/> reel me in (yeah, I know, this is ambiguous advice)
